This article shares the reflections of Grade 4 students after reading Sadako and the Paper Cranes. Through letter writing, colourful paper crane making, and creative expressions, the children are deeply connected with Sadako’s story. They internalised values of peace, compassion, and sensitivity while also enhancing their language, artistic, social, and emotional skills.
More than a story, it became a living lesson in peace and humanity for the children.
